For this exercise, we were prompted to begin by making a paper collage of pictures of ourselves mashed with a creature/monster of our choice. I decided to go with a ghost. All images are copyright free.

I made two versions of the collage in prep.

Going with the former, I sketched out the collage using a grid to prepare for the inkwash.

Using the collage as reference, we were tasked to go grid-by-grid and try to replicate the ranges of value.
